The scout troop is for teens aged 11 - 18
The focus of the scout troop is to empower and development independent individuals capable of leading themselves through life. Scouts are equipped with advanced survival skills, advanced life skills, basic craftsman skills, advanced emergency and first aid skills, and advanced planning and co-ordinations skills.
After completing a scouts trail scouts are able to budget, plan, delegate, pacify, communicate and respond effectively.
The Scouts journey will allow scouts to experience various things such as camping, hiking, expeditions, demonstrations, community involvement while making friends on a local,national and international level
Scouts also development leadership in the group as they progress through various leadership roles in a scout group

Scouts hiking through the Cederberg mountains during the Cederberg Senior Scout Adventure
Scouts can experience once in life time events through International,National,Regional and District Level
Scouts have the abilities to go on events that have life altering experiences such as the Cederberg Senior Scout Adventure, The South African National Jamboree, World Scout Jamboree and much more
All of these experiences are part of the a scout journey in becoming who they will one day be
Scouts spending the night on Homestead dam on rafts they had build during the Kontiki Event
The Scout Trail Consist of 4 Advancement levels and various scoutcraft and interest badges
Each one of the 4 levels is broken into 6 skills categories

First Class
Springbok is the highest award a scout can accomplish in their scout Journey
Springbok award is a set of national colours and is recognised by schools as full and honor colours for extra curriculum activities
This award is also recognised by South African and International companies and can be included on Curriculum Vitae
Scouts out on a Geocache Hike in Atlasville and Surrounding Areas
The hike was planned and lead by the scout in the middle (Has his hand lifted) as part of his Discover Adventure level task of planning and leading a hike
